Objective

To obtain a Sponsorship with different companies and to promote their products on the water and off the water in a professional manner.  I meet many anglers on the water  and off the water and on the Internet. I believe that I can promote to anglers not only in the different states that I travel and fish in but also across the country via the internet.  I am also willing to work any promotional events possible for my sponsors.

               Experience

Won the 2007/2008 South Central  Kentucky Fishers of Men National Trail Points Race.

  Finished 5th at the Fishers of Men National Championship out of a field of 168.

Currently hold the South Central Kentucky weight record for a single season.

In 2006 I was chosen as one of two fishermen for the Bass Pros Shops Outdoor World in Sevierville, Tennessee as their pro staff person. I have been chosen each year up to present time.

I took my boat to the Grandparents raising Grandchildren Day for the last 3 years to promote taking a kid fishing and giving away prizes at casting events that I do.

 I fished the Wal-mart Bass Fishing League Mountain Division in 2006

Did tank demos for 3 days at he Spring Classic Event at the Bass Pro Shops in 2006 2007 and 2008.

I worked the Tim Erwin Boys and Girls Club Tournament on Loudon Lake for Bass Pro Shops in 2006

In May 2006 I promoted for Bass Pro Shops at a Seminar and Fishing trip put on by Woo Daves and myself at lake Cumberland.

In June 2006  and 2007 I did a 2 day Kids weekend on teaching kids how to cast at the Bass Pro Shops.

On July 29th 2006 I worked a kids tournament for Bass Pro Shops on Douglas Lake which  had a record turnout of 309 Boats.

     I write a fishing Article in two different Newspapers in East Kentucky biweekly. These Articles are featured in the sports section and circulates to over 40,000 customers.

     In 2003 I was featured on the Fishin Hole segment of WYMT Television that covers over half of Kentucky and parts of Virginia.

     In 2001-2002 I became sponsored by South-East Marine and Nitro Boats on the Kentucky Nitro State Team in 2001-2002

     Finished 1^st out of 98 Boats at the age of 16 in the Neon Bass Tournament

     Fished Buddy tournaments since the age of 16

     Finished 13^th out of 300 in the 1999 South-East Marine Tournament

     Finished 1^st out of a field of over 70 boats in the 20^th Annual Vicco-Sassafras Tournament in 2000.

     Finished in top 27th at the East Region National Nitro Owners Tournament in2000

     Finished 2^nd at the 21st Annual Vicco-Sassafras Tournament out of 76 Boats.

     Finished 19^th at the 22^nd Annual Vicco-Sassafras Tournament out of 68 Boats.

     Finished 12^th at the Mountain Community Hospice Tournament out of 89 Boats.

     Fished the Perry county Bass Trail for several years

     Finished 43rd out of 168 in my first Wal-Mart BFL Tournament in 2001

     Finished 29^th out of a field of 87 to make the Regional Fishers of Men National Trail in 2002 on Kentucky Lake.

     Fished all five Central Kentucky Divisional Events of the Fishers of Men National Trail in 2002.

     Qualified for the Regional on Kentucky Lake in my first year on the Fishers of Men National Trail, and finished 104 out of 190.

     Best performance in 2002 Fishers of Men was a 4^th place with the Big Fish of the Tournament against 68 other Teams

     Fished all five Central Kentucky Division Events in 2003 with a best finish being 11^th

     I finished 38^th in points for the year on the Fishers of Men Trail.

     I have worked with the Director of the Fishers of Men Trail to promote for my sponsors at all the pretournament meetings.

     I have worked boat shows for my sponsors in Hazard and Lexington KY in 2001,2002, 2003 and 2004.

     I have been featured 3 different times in 2 different National Magazines in 2003 for Keelshield Inc. Those Magazines are Cabelas Outfitters Journal and the Southern Sporting Journal Magazine.

     Fished all 5 Fishers Of Men Central KY Divisional events in 2004, finishing 20th for the year in points which qualified me for the 2004 Regional event in October.

     Best finishes for the 2004 Fishers of Men was a 4^th and 11th

     Fished both of Pittsburg Marines open events in 2004 on Lake Cumberland and Laurel Lake. Each of these events had over 400 Fisherman.

     In the past years I have helped do promotions for the Vicco- Sassafras Fire Department Bass Tournament. This next year will be their 25^rd straight year for this event. I promote for all my sponsors at this event in many different ways.

     I am able to mention my Sponsors in my weekly newspaper fishing articles that I do on weekly bases. These articles circulate to over 20,000 readers in East Kentucky and are featured in the Sports Section.

     In 2001 I used my Nitro State Team Boat to take the Perry County Central Cheerleaders through the largest Parade in East Kentucky. Estimated Crowd to be around 60,000 people

     In 2001 I helped run the South-East Marine Annual Tournament on Laurel Lake which had over 280 Boats fishing it.

     I have worked 2 boat shows for South-East Marine in 2001 in Lexington and Hazard Kentucky.

     In 2002 I used a Limited Edition Nascar Ranger Boat and a New Chevrolet Pickup Provided by Cardinal Chevrolet to take the Perry County Central Cheerleaders through the 2002 Black Gold Parade with another estimated crowd of over 60,000

     I work with my Fishers of Men Tournament Director and other Tournament Directors to also promote products for my sponsors at  pre tournament meetings .

      I also worked very closely with my Ranger Dealership to help promote advertisements and sales in my area.

     I have taken several potential buyers fishing in order to promote the products of my sponsor’s items that they provide for me to use.

     I have been interviewed on local Radio Stations in my Area promoting for my sponsors. For the past two years the Boats I have used in the Black Gold Parade was shown on 2 different Television Stations covering all of East Kentucky.

     In 2003 I helped set up and run the Ranger Boats 5^th Annual Spring open Tournament on Lake Cumberland where anew Ranger Boat was given away.

    In 2003 I worked a Kids Regional Safety Fair and a Health Fair for Kids in my Area.

     In 2004 I worked all my tournaments and pre tournaments meetings for Keelshield, Ranger and other Sponsors by handing out materials at all my events that I fished.

     In 2004 I set up with my Boat at a Drug prevention walkathon and fair, handing out items donated by my sponsors to several hundred kids. Over 1000 people were at this event.

Graduated as Senior Favorite Male, Citizenship Award and Best dressed Male. Also picked as Mr. Dilce Combs High and Senior favorite from the entire school population of over 600 including faculty.

2 Year Electrical Degree from Hazard State Technical College
